3:52 - Yea this is exactly it... I just wanna get invited without waiting for ages. Community perception is all that matters in the pug world, you just have to hope one of the healers you enjoy is considered invitable.

Maybe i’m just delusional but I play whatever class i’m enjoying the most and push my own keys. Never have any issues completing all my goals each season on all my alts

RSham, because I enjoy it and I'm flexing to it for raid with ele as main. Both looking strong.

I think they already solved this unaware in MOP Remix really. Its easy to add scrolls for all the raid buffs; have every raid or dungeon or delv group have the ability to use all the class buffs that exist. That would level out the buff issue for group pugs.

I've been playing resto sham since tbc; never had a problem finding groups ever. The only real time I started feeling that rsham was underpowered is when I really pushed the highest content I could do (25-26 df s3) and understood that my kit was simply not made to deal with certain situations (spothealing was a big painpoint in df). Also, being squishy af is a forever issue; it's more of a git good, learn to be proactive or die. Many people consider rsham to be a reactive healer; those people don't know how to play the class =)) Everything you do has ramp-up; you have no big ohshit lets save everyone buttons, you always have to foresee the damage and set up your save everyone moments way ahead of time to be effective.

Well, my main will be either Holy Paladin or Resto shaman, I played Aug evoker for the last 2 season and wanted a "bigger" challenge. Cant decide between holy pala/resto shaman

The highest keys I ever did were back in Legion on FDK (21s). The packs were so brutal that my only defense was to stop DPS, run out, then run back in. You couldn't be close to the mobs or you would just die. Now it's like it doesn't matter where you stand, you just die.

Holy paladin or resto shaman are my top choices, both are a lot of fun.

I think hps checks are less of an issue, most healers (except maybe s3 and s4 pally) are able to meet hps checks.

This is mostly because dungeons expect a full health party before the next one shot. There's no rot damage powerful enough to challenge healers, it's just instant kill casts nowadays.

So if hps isn't the issue, then it's the utility.

The healer is basically decided on what the meta comp is, the most powerful dps are chosen first, then the tank and healer. If a balance druid is the most op dps, then resto druid gets crossed out, if shadow priest is the most meta, then the other two priest specs get shafted, if aug continues its dominance, then pres evoker will never see the light of day.

I just found you yesterday and I adore you.

Been playing Holy Priest since classic, but will probably play Preservation Evoker for TWW. It’s super fun to fly around and be a dragon.

Yeah, I probably won’t be invited to groups as often due to perception of the meta by the average player, but that’s fine. I’d rather play what I want than what someone else tells me to play. I’ll never do that, in fact. I pay my subscription.

Definitely building my physical damage comp so i can main my resto shaman.

They should just bring back the scrolls they had in BFA. You just brought scrolls for the raid buffs you didnt have and they were weaker but it made the gap so much smaller

I feel obligated as a healer to play "the class to be filled" ei i love RShaman but guild has RShaman, so now i have to play Evoker. i also raid for 2 guilds and do M+ I still end up have to PUG a majority of my keys. Nothing sucks worse then being left out or rejected from keys as low as a 2 with top end score because it isn't "Meta". I would like raid buffs to be removed from keys or applied to the Key's themselves. Imagine putting a key in and every raid buff gets applied to the team.

Yeah, the requirements for being meta have changed a lot. In Legion, it was 'do you have the defensives to survive past a certain key level.' Lately, it feels a lot more like 'do you shore up the weaknesses of the present meta comp.' I want to say we'll probably be looking at which healer has the best stops and dispel profile with how keys are shaping up, but there's so much tuning still on the table.

I'll probably stick with priest, because I always do, but the temptation to go Aug and let my Resto Shaman friends shine is high. Maybe that's because I'm eyeing Blizzard buffing Oracle in every way but getting rid of its miserable playstyle and wanting to jetpack out of ever having to touch that.

I know you get this all the time, but I've missed it in past videos. Do you use an addon for the display when a cool down is done and it pops up briefly on your screen or is that weakauras? I've been having trouble finding that kind of weakauras to do that and I'm unable to make my own.

H Pala is the most fun atm for me, A bit of melee combat, a few hardcasts and a lot of spontaneous healing for the grp, puts you in a really good mood. I hope it stays that way in TWW
