Quick Look: Introducing the New FLIR ONE Application for iOS

In this video, we take a look at the new user interface for the FLIR ONE Application for iOS devices.

One thing I’ve noticed after using the app is that the colour map seems to change depending on the scene, even in manual mode, that is the mapping of temps to colours seems to compress or stretch depending on the scene. I’m guessing this is dependent on the histogram, to try to differentiate temps. This is clever but it’s be great to have an override so you can have a consistent map across sessions.

Is it possible to update to the pro model to get rid of the watermark?

I noticed your photos had the scale on the right-hand side. Mine do not and I'm wondering if there is an option somewhere to have the scale show up on the saved image. To be clear, the scale shows up on the camera just like yours does, just not on the saved image.

Is it possible to analyse videos with it? I mean, edit the color scale, color pallets and so on? Also, can I use the flir tools version for PC to deal with the content I got from this camera? Thanks.

I have a issue my flir one pro is always detecting 100 celsius when it suppose to be only between 25 to 30 in the environment i am.
Is there a way to calibrate it or the camera is faulty?

Any way to get it to work with a case like an otterbox ?? It wont plug in through the cut out for the charger on the case

You have to have iOS 13 for gen 3 pro and pro Lt

It would be great if FLIR sold their items with a disclaimer that they will not connect to apple devices (cant get my images and video on my macbook).... put a micro sd card in there or something, i'm seriously bummed to have wasted $600.

What they’re not telling you is that they removed useful features that existed in the previous app while obsoleting older generation of cameras. I have the newest camera and yet can no longer do things I used to be able to do. And their support is an embarrassment. Buy any other brand but FLIR. They pulled the rug out from under many many devoted customers and only gave us the same copy/pasted response (check their Apple App Store reviews). Avoid these clowns or don’t say I didn’t warn you.
