Motleys – “I’ll See Your Light” (Valiant) 1966

The Motleys included Gary Zekley, Dan Walsh and Michael Price. All three had extensive careers in the music business. Dan and Michael were songwriters, with songs such as the Grass Root’s “Glory Bound” to their credit.

Gary wrote or produced songs for artists such as Dick and Dee Dee, Jan and Dean, Spanky and Our Gang, the Ragamuffins, the Mamas & the Papas and the Yellow Balloon. He wrote the Grass Roots’ radio favorite, “Sooner Or Later”. Sadly, he passed in 1996 at the way-too-young age of 53.
