One of the few scholars in this era who approach problems in the most fundamental and honest way.

A computer science professor that's never taken a computer science course. Makes perfect sense to me, especially in the field of deep learning. I only wish more institutions (educational, private and corporate) would understand this phenomenon of exponential break through and achievement.

Many great solutions were solved by the most unlikely individuals with backgrounds, far removed from the knowledge and understanding of the problem at hand, in order to solve it. This is a core understanding I've observed over and over again, although infrequently, with astounding results.

I can only hope that one day the world will come together to realize this phenomenon to solve some of our most high priority challenges to make the world a much better place for us all.

He's not majored in computer science, so he must have studied some specific computer science topics right?
can anyone name them?

Something tells me this guy has a disdain for education.
He thinks professors are fakers yet has designed fake replacements for them and for all levels of society.
I think this guy is insane.
