We’re saving Europe‘s cutest bird

The Little Owl is one of the cutest birds you’ll ever see. It’s critically endangered and has even gone extinct in many regions. We partnered with two rewilding pioneers who have found a way to bring them back.

I love the little owl! It is so cute. A shame that such a nice animal should be endangered. Also, the landscape that this cute owl needs to survive, is so much more beautiful, pleasant and enjoyable for humans than the monotonous, boring and ugly monocultural agricultural steppe that we put in its stead. Undoing that mistake is a must. We can have e.g. food production and beautiful, diverse landscapes that benefit animals like the little owl at the same time. Rewilding is great, a must even. More nature, please. But also alternative, ecofriendly ways of agriculture, like some sort of permaculture, which serves nature and our need for healthy food production. Thank you.
