He sacrificed all his happiness for the entire world. He lives alone, broken and sad, but did it all for the world. The mask stays on, and the world stays a better place. As someone who was never big on Homecoming and Far From Home, No Way Home was utterly fantastic, and I teared up watching it. Amazing movie.

I don’t know what’s tougher, Tony dying to save the world or Peter making everyone forget him to save the world. I freaking love these characters

Peter Parker: Loses his 2 parents, his uncle, his first longtime crush, his father figure, his life, his aunt, his girlfriend, best friend, 2nd father figure (happy), his uncle figure (Strange), and was basically wiped from existence.

Thor and Wanda: Finally! A worthy opponent!

I honestly feel worse about Ned forgetting who Peter is, rather than MJ. Peter and Ned had the perfect friendship in Homecoming, he was pretty much Peter's only friend, before MJ. They even had their own little handshake for crying out loud. So it's pretty sad to see their relationship vanish just like that.

You see the intensity of his emotions in his eyes before he leaves the donut shop. He’s wishing he could bring Ned and MJ back into his life and remind them of all they’ve been through, but he knows he cannot because doing so would only endanger both of them again.

0:03 if Stan Lee were still alive then he would talk with MJ

It annoys me that this movie is viewed as nothing but fan service when amazing scenes like this exist.

2:19 Why does MJ's "anything else" and Peter's reply "no" hurt so much 💘🖤

“It doesn’t really hurt anymore” I took her line as with her being apart from him she’s not hurting from it and he’s content with that. He understands she’s safe as she is and not sad without him. Ahhh this breaks my heart, poor Peter sacrificed everything and all the rest that he cared for forgot him.

"I believe there's a hero in all of us, that keeps us honest, gives us strength, makes us noble, and finally allows us to die with pride, even though sometimes we have to be steady, and give up the thing we want the most. Even our dreams."

- Aunt May/Spider-Man 2 (2004)

That quote from May's "Hero Speech" really fits in this scene. What Peter had to sacrifice to save the world, and the people he cared about and loved. It fits especially well when he sees MJ's scar with the band-Aid at 1:56.

If you look closely, the necklace Peter gave MJ is still in that scene, so there is still a strong connection between them

I know this is supposed to be a bittersweet moment (they're safe, but at the cost of their memories), but I can't help but see it from MJ's point of view. Ned comes in and talks about MIT with her, and she's held up by this random guy who's wistfully looking at her and Ned. She asks Ned about it, but since he didn't get a good look at him, he doesn't know who that was. It takes up a bit of MJ's memory for a while, until MIT manages to shove that memory to the back of her mind. Eventually, she sees him again, and asks him how he knew her phrase, and he either lies, and says it's something an old friend used to say, or he confesses the truth, which creeps out MJ and Ned (since they don't believe him) to the point of isolating them from him more.

This scene was so heartbreaking that I was crying for two hours 😭

Seeing as they’ve mentioned making a second trilogy for Tom Holland, I really hope they don’t return their memory for at LEAST the first movie. Not only would it then become a slightly more unique story since so far there hasn’t been a movie in the MCU where someone doesn’t know Peter is Spider-Man. But it would also really make this ending more impactful if we had to live with the consequences of it along with Peter.

One of the most emotional scenes in entire MCU

He has improved greatly and his version of Spiderman has introduced tragedy on a whole another level.

2:25 this moment gets me so emotional. The way he stares at her, wanting her to be back in his life but he knows for the greater good for them and himself, he has to be a stranger. Connects a lot of real love situations among struggling relationships

He grew from a Stark-founded Spider-boy to an actual Spider-Man over the past two films. The Far from Home and No Way Home really built his character well.
Here we see a young man, not just a nerdy boy wanting to be a hero, but a man who takes full responsibility and makes sacrifices.
The reason he didn't tell her and Ned anything is because he saw them leading normal peaceful lives, finally, without the weights of being Spider-Man's friend/girlfriend. Maybe he thought it was for the best to stay away from them. Surely we see what happened in the movie, but If you take the story into consideration, I bet he the other two Peters talked about much more, I can imagine Andrew's Pete sharing the story of how he was told to leave Gwen out of it, but ingored it, thus her being in danger and eventually dying. Similar happened to MJ when she was kidnapped by Venom in SM3.
Maybe this Peter here just decided to protect his friends and stay away from them.
I can imagine him visitng Strange sometimes down the line and telling him who he is and about the spell, to which Strange is a bit skeptical, but knowing about the spell's existence, he believes him and they become friends again. I can imagine MJ being involved with Spider-Man again and slowly falling in love and eventually figuring out his identity and remembering everything.
Guess we'll just have to wait for the next one.

The best ending in the MCU - the theme - consequences & choices - Peter made this situation happen through his choices and accepted the consequences. Yet, he is still madly in love but accepts the consequences of having to walk away because he knows that’s what she needs to move on to a better future - this is brilliant - simply … most of us can relate to this feeling of lost love, hard acceptances, and most of all the consequences of our choices. Bravo 👏
