On Monday 3/7/2017 I had finally owned an LG 55-Inch 4K UHD Multi-HDR with Dolby Vision Smart OLED TV but on October 2018 I got a Sony Wireless Dolby Atmos Soundbar System with a Wireless Subwoofer and a Virtual Vertical Height Elevation Surround Sound Processing Technology with No Upward-Firing Height Elevation Speakers and on July 3, 2017 I got the Wireless Surround Sound Speakers for my soundbar and when I watched many action-packed films with very great sound I thought the Virtual Atmos would work in my 18x15 ft room with an 8 foot flat ceiling but in early-2021 I finally discovered that the Sony Wireless Dolby Atmos Soundbar System with a Wireless Subwoofer and a Virtual Vertical Height Elevation Surround Sound Processing Technology with No Upward-Firing Height Elevation Speakers would only work very effectively in higher slanted vaulted beamed angled ceilings and not flat 8-foot ceilings so not only I had an Onkyo 7.1 Channel Dolby Atmos Premium Home Theater Surround Audio-Video Receiver with 4K UHD & HDCP 2.2 for five years but for nearly a year I have been saving more than a thousand dollars on a Klipsch 5.1.2 Channel Full-On Wired High Performance/Quality/Fidelity Dolby Atmos Home Theater Moving Surround Sound System with Upward-Firing Height Elevation Loudspeakers and Woofers & Tweeters me and my family bought it for nearly $2, 000, hooked it up to the Dolby Atmos Receiver, hooked the Receiver to the TVs HDMI ARC calibrated the loudspeakers and listening to good famous popular music and watching many good famous popular memorable fun interesting action-packed films TV series all with very great sound sounded a lot much better than that soundbar I had in my house that has Atmos but no upward-firing height elevation speakers the Upward-Firing Height Elevation Loudspeakers not only work very flawlessly but makes a huge difference with audio objects from any film and tv show and that big subwoofer and all that woofers and tweeters make the film tv music and sport watching experience much more immersive room-filling impactful dynamic cinematic enjoyable richer sharper realistic fully-detailed and it not only rivals my Nearby Commercial Movie Theaters with 4K UHD HDR Projectors and Dolby Atmos 3D Surround Sound but watching and listening to very good entertainment makes me feel like I am pulled right deeper in the center of the action pulled and transport me much deeper inside the story-action and feels like I am right truly in the center of the entertainment but there is only one flaw on the tv that it does not support Dolby Atmos via HDMI ARC and even though some of my TV apps will say Dolby Atmos logo on a lot of films and tv shows it just won’t output it and send the signal from the tv to the receiver in order for the receiver to say Dolby Atmos but I was able to use Dolby Surround Upmixer which upmixes it and sounds very much like Dolby Atmos-content and the receiver has two flaws it does not have HDR or DTSX but HDR worked flawlessly on the tv while connected to the receiver and DTSX films sound great it was only downmixed to DTS HD Master Audio (A Lossless version of DTSX) but again Dolby Surround Upmixer will sound very much like DTSX and it sounds very very good much better than any soundbar

Nice video but i find it hilarious that you say (two times) you have an "Marantz receiver". While it is an "Anthem".🤣🤣🤣

Hello sir. If I have 5 speakers & 2 SUBS And I add 2 additional speakers in the ceiling would this be enough to be considered DOL Y ATMOS. If not, what else would I need? My Yamaha Receiver V-653 Says it supports DOLBY ATMOS.

why even make this comparison? home theaters will always be better than a soundbar. Soundbars are created simply to recreate the home theater feels and effects. Not everyone can afford a home theater, but at the same time wanted to get the feel of it, hence getting a soundbar...geez!! Maybe next time try to compare a home theater vs home theater of different brands or soundbar vs soundbar of different brands.
