James Gurney, author and illustrator of Dinotopia, visits a sheep farm on shearing day. After helping with skirting the fleeces, he sketches portraits of the Icelandic sheep, using watercolor and colored pencils.

Julia, I wondered about that, too, but I was told it's not too cold for yet for them. Being Icelandics, they love the cold. They'll start growing back their fleece before the winter gets serious.

Seems like the sheep need to keep their winter coat until sometime next spring. Aren't they going to get too cold - and very soon? Enjoyed the video .
