Ben Hyde: Three Simple Experiments | Thunderbolts

Показать описание
Here's a fun and easy way to show that we really do live in an Electric Universe. Benjamin Hyde demonstrates three simple experiments you can do at home.

These experiments do not require any expensive lab equipment, other than a neon sign transformer—which are antiquated and gathering dust in a corner of your local sign or billboard shop. If you ask politely, you may be able to put one up for free.

The focus of the three experiments are—Lichtenberg Patterns, Double Lobes, and Twisted Pairs.

Ben is a presenter, educator and teacher at Spark Science (“Science Programs Aimed Right at Kids”), providing live science demonstrations throughout the Great State of Utah in the USA.

The reason why we went to the Swell was because of Andy Hall's EU 2017 presentation. Check that out if you haven't seen it. Thanks Ben for mentioning our trip. 😊

The modes of plasma should be taught in schools, but they aren't. At least in my 12 years of school I didn't hear about them. If people would know about Townsend discharge, they would also get the idea, that the ionosphere and the van Allen belts are plasma structures!

double-lobed features = one negative and one positive. Material is excavated from one and electrically transfers to the other (fast through the air). Valley / harbor is created on one side and the other is the built-up mound of recently excavated material.

Delightful! I am so happy to see electric universe experiments for all ages! Teach the next generation to open their eyes and marvel at the real universe.

Once, while working as a nationwide salesman, i was on a flight that got hit with what the pilot described as a one in a million chance of St. Elmo's Fire. The bolt hot the left wing, entered the cabin, and came down the aisle where it disappeared behind me. It did no damage to anything and while a few people screamed, to me (and the pilot), it was just exciting.

I started cataloguing double-lobed features on Google Earth but gave up after figuring out they are fractally everywhere. City harbors are fun to look at. Many artworks by DeBry seem to imply he understood this phenomenon.
