We took the Scania to the Florida Trucking Show in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and the response was INSANE! This was not only our first time attending this event, but it was also the first time a Scania truck has ever been there—and people could not get enough of it!

Truck drivers, owner-operators, and enthusiasts from all walks of life lined up just to get a first-hand look at the truck. We had reactions from drivers of every nationality, industry veterans, and even people visiting from around the world who had never seen a Scania in person in the U.S. The excitement was unreal!

We want to thank everyone who stopped by to check out the truck, share their thoughts, and talk shop. This event was a huge success, and we’re pumped to keep bringing Scania to more people in the U.S.!

What do you think? Should Scania make its way into the American market? Drop your thoughts in the comments!

It seems as if a factory installed coffee maker is the greatest invention ever seen in the US. 🙂

The safety, break system, fuel effiency, comfort and air filtration are the best in both Swedish trucks Volvo and Scana ❤

Still fascinating that this Scania fan I watched bringing a truck over the canadian border back then grown into the brand ambassador of Scania in the US. Good Job

I'm not a truck driver, don't have money to buy a truck but every since I played Euro truck Simulator 2 and drove a Scania, I fell in love with the Brand Trucks. Even more when you see those POV's of drivers, driving it around Europe. What a beautiful Truck Scania makes !

As a Swede I am really surprised hearing that Scania isn't everywhere in North America. They are like the backbone of not just Swedish but European transportation. It's synonymous with high quality.

Been a truck driver in the UK for 38 years . I've driven all the brands we have here, M.A.N., DAF, Renault, Mercedes and even a Hino from Japan but nothing comes close to a Scania.

I drive a Scania in Australia. Great truck to drive. Overnight bunks (x 2) are fine, built in fridge/freezer is great. Mine lacks the coffee maker. Mine is rated at 62, 500kg as a Bdouble and 74, 000 kg as a two trailer road train.

As a business owner and someone who has attended industry shows similar to this, as both a visitor and exhibitor, I massively appreciate how much time you have devoted to the other exhibitors, other than your own brand at this show. Big respect man, and well done to Scania for hooking up with you. I hope they are properly sorting you out.

As soon as he mentioned "6 and a half miles per gallon" I remembered we were talking about trucks.

Here in UK, trucks like this are everywhere, it's weird seeing any other design like the American ones. Easy access, none of that guessing where the front end is, to get to the engine - couple of latches and the entire cab tilts forward on hydraulic Be really interesting if you seen an Australian road train, we have family down under and when visiting them a road train went past us - - - - to say it was massive is an understatement, a huge tractor unit pulling 3 trailers doing 80kph makes one hell of a sound (not to mention the wind)

I absolutely love these videos. Huge thank you to Scania, Bruce and the rest of the team for making all this reality. It's great to see Americans reacting to the Scania truck(s). The U.S. really needs these fantastic trucks on their roads 🙏💯🚛🚚

Hi Bruce, Thanks for showing everyone our nations best truck. I'm from Sweden and my father has for long owned his own Scania V8 trucks and myself have driven them before (long time ago now). I have always wondered why Scania is not in America... i mean whats not more American then a v8 i though? The engine sound is insane with some open pipes. I remember as a kid when it was allowed for trucks to have open pipes in sweden. I live in a small city (actually the 6th biggest city in sweden) with only about 120 000 inhabitants... and you KNEW when a scania truck was coming to the city, the thundering sound of a 16 liter Scania v8 is absolute insanity. I bet you and everyone in america have spent lots of time looking at youtube videos of Scania trucks and its as impressive in real life as its on videos. But driving it with open pipes is just crazy.

As the last guy said, people will just flock to this tuck in America.

Lets hope this silly Trump trade war takes a swift end... and goes back to ways it was. Its better for everyone...

I started driving in F Series Volvos. The COE are the best way to go. The Scania is very beautiful, I would like to see the return of COE Volvos too. Both should be in America again!
