Jesse is probably the most human seeming character in breaking bad, hes not some genius meth cook, not a stone cold murderer, hes not some crazy smart business man, hes not an amazing lawyer, he isnt some super merc, hes just a regular guy who got in the middle of everything and is managing to keep his head above water, jesse is almost unlikable at surface level but once you actually pay more attention to his character you realize how hes the perfect example of how a regular person would react in that situation and theres alot more going on with his character than just junkie fuckup. Another reason why breaking peak is peak and fuck stranger things (mid things).

jesse was just a Guy. imperfections, and all. he is the exact representation of the insanity one is driven into when you go through what he did. Breaking Bad was so great because of the dichotomy between walt and jesse. walt toils further and further down this path of absurdity, never seeming to be driven insane for it. but jesse, who is accursed with never being free from the whirlwind he was caught up into, is strung along, and it absolutely destroys him. Jesse Pinkman was never meant to be a criminal.
