Just got an email for this new ship. I'm excited!!! Looks amazing. Never been on NCL, but spoke with rep a few days ago and told them we are planning for the future to go on NCL so we can experience different cruise lines. More excited about this now especially since NCL has way more fun activities than most ships.

I must say, these ships are beautifully designed. The Haven, where we always book, is stunning—the rooms are spacious, and the compound is quite impressive. There's even an infinity pool! However, during our trip on the Viva and Prima, we found the Haven lacking in staff, and the atmosphere wasn't as exciting. It was super quiet—no music, nothing happening at all. Also, the restaurant menus were the same every night, so we ended up dining elsewhere.

That said, I absolutely love the other specialty restaurants onboard, especially the Indulge Food Hall. The Indian food there is fantastic! As for the other venues, they’re forgettable—too small and just not quite right.

I remember dining at the restaurant in Viva's Haven, and it was a disaster on the first night. I always order surf and turf on the first night of a cruise in the Haven. When I asked for an extra lobster tail, they informed me there would be an additional charge. It was quite odd because on other ships like the Joy, Encore, and Escape, the Bliss, the Haven offers extra lobster tails at no charge. On Viva and Prima, they charge you for them.

The entire Haven area on these newer ships feels empty, with hardly any staff around. It’s a stark contrast to the Breakaway-class ships, which are bigger, and where the staff are amazing. We love the Haven compound on those ships—they even offer complimentary coffee throughout the area. On Viva and Prima? Yikes—they charge for everything.

I hope the upcoming ship, *Luna*, is different, but honestly, I have my doubts.

I’m booked for 2026! NCL is one of my favourite cruise lines. I’d love to see more broadway-style shows onboard instead of user-pay entertainment like Deal or No Deal, or Wheel of Fortune or other similar games.

💜💜Please consider adding a free covered pool area with hot tubs. Not all of us are direct sun worshipers, but we still enjoy spending time in the water. I love cruising with NCL, but I've been exploring other lines like RC, MSC, and HAL specifically for this feature.🙏🙏
