You are also going to read through the entire first portion of the book of Enoch called "the Book of the Watchers."
At the end of each episode we will have a section of the book read aloud to you.
By the end of the series you can say you have read an entire portion of the book of Enoch for yourself!

This is great! I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who has only recently discovered the Book of Enoch. It came to the forefront of my mind from watching You Tube channels like The Stick of Joseph and Ward Radio and their interviews wth non-LDS theogians like Margaret Barker.
My first impression came from reading the flood story in Genesis Chapter 6, then reading about the Watchers in Enoch. To me, it was instantly apparent that Genesis 6 came from the Enoch account, but is much abbreviated and almost incomprehensible taking up just a few
verses. Then in Enoch over 5 or 6 pages, we get what appears to be the rest of the story. And, to me, there is no doubt they both come from the same original story!
Currently, I'm reading Enoch the Prophet by Hugh Nibley which further puts the ideas and concepts in Enoch into context with other ancient writ. It's all very mind expanding as well as faith and testimony promoting!

I read it i would just say skip second enoch and third enoch as it gets into new agey and occultic type narrative. However, if you are going to read 1st enoch i recommend hearing Dr. Michael S. Heiser's seminar called Reversing Hermon here on YouTube.
