Since i don't code and usually send my stuff to devs, i use Ps and Xd. And explore Xd's animations a bit more. I created Paralax effects in it, sticky nav, button transitions, menu fill outs and more, all for websites. It's not just auto animate. And it also has voice interaction which none of the other tools have.

At my full time job, we use Figma for the collaborative features because we are two designer. For my personal project, I work generally with Invision Studio and Affinity Photo and Designer (more affordable and web design tools are included with Designer). I'm not a Mac user so i'm pretty happy to see powerful Sketch alternatives for Windows ^^

I have a question. Maybe it's a stupid one. I'm a developer, not a designer. I landed here because I'm starting to use Webflow and Ran is the n.1 resource for learning it. Webflow seems to allow the work of a designer and a developer in a single "move". That been said, my stupid question is: what is the advantage of using these tools THEN repeat the same passages on Webflow? Isn't this a double work? Couldn't it be done using Webflow from the beginning?

Besides Adobe XD, I use Axure RP, because it was *the* prototyping tool before sketch. It can also integrate all micro interactions of a prototype. It has just launched a new update that may bring it back into the race, but has little support for Portuguese. It brings same features as Adobe XD for showing Design specs, which I think it's pretty cool.

I work within the Adobe space, I am used to it and the apps work well together. Mainly XD, Ai and Ps. I am just waiting for XD to have a "Linked" file feature that auto updates any graphics or images placed in it from the other apps like Ai and Ps. That would seal the deal for many users I believe.

Believe it or not, I still use Fireworks every day. I'm using XD and InVision more often, but I love Fireworks and can do absolutely everything I need in it.

Really nice video! One thing, Xd is now free and they introduced a cloud as well. Mulitple people can work on the same files as well. And its happening live, you can see the live changing of others (its few secs delay of course)!

Adobe XD is great but the problem is if you're using Windows. You don't have all the features that the Mac version has.
Don't know why the design tools hate windows so much. Apple products are too expensive for my country ...

Still no any other app can beat Photoshop about image optimization. It's easy to share psd files because Photoshop works both in Windows and macOS, it's painful to share a Sketch file with someone who use Windows. But for sure Photoshop is not fast as Sketch or Figma. Another negative thing about Photoshop is not really compatible with collaboration apps like Zeplin or Invision Craft. Usually I make my choice according to developers, I go with the one which developers are familiar with for better collaboration.

Currently watching this video and I would just like to mention the Generator in Photoshop. In regards to your point mentioning that the export option wasn’t doing what you wanted. Have you tried the generator feature? It exports all your assets in real time.

The tools i use for my web design is adobe xd and figma but i use adobe xd more often.

WOW Ran - this is the 'most tired' I've ever seen you produce a video. Great content (as always) but you should definitely have gone to sleep first! Look after yourself and don't work yourself crazy. It's not worth it in the end. Honestly - we the viewers prefer your happy smiley energised self in production. I worry that if someone was watching your channel for the very first time they might get an 'exhausted' impression... Poor Ran - time for bed.... (please take this with the care it is intended x)
