People also forget that whenever minors are involved, any cases are supposed to be sealed to protect the minor first and foremost. Like, imagine if that kid's name got out or people figured out who they are, on top of whatever the Diddlers of the world did, they'd get doxxed and harassed by the fans. "No real intent" is sus AF. Wtf, you mean "no real intent?" It sounds like a big part of his defense was alleging that, despite him provoking or soliciting something that would normally be illegal, he claimed that it was a joke or something, and that the minor knew it was a joke, too. This is a common panic defense statement.
