I like how, after initially getting the news, he tries to go back to the game for a few seconds, only to quite literally run around in circles. It's like he desperately wants _something_ to distract him, but the realization of just how *FUCKED* he is weighs so heavily on his mind that nothing works. So instead of going on to the next quest, he just aimlessly wanders around (as other commenters have described it). And as a nice bonus, as the Doc loses what was left of his career, the music chimes in, almost seeming to mock him.

Normally, I'd feel bad for someone going through something like this, but the Doc 100% deserves _every bit of this._
