Locating Your Sales Order Number - UPDATED!

Our customer service representatives will ask you to provide the sales order number or, SO number, in order to identify your window in our system. In the top right or left corner of the glass in between the two panes on the metal spacer, there will be a series of numbers -- usually five to eight digits - followed by a decimal and three digits. Please have this number ready when speaking with your Milgard representative as it will expedite your service.

The installers don't tell you that the number on the stickers for each window has your sales order number. The first 7 numbers is what you need to register them. Calling Milgard directly was useless.

This may be an old video yet when you go online or talk to a representative this is where they direct you. My windows don't have these numbers on them at all. They need to update this video and update their customer services representatives.

of the 29 windows, only 6 have a number there. And there are tons of defects and one came with cracked glass 14" long and they said they wont cover it.

If you only have a single digit after the decimal/period you need to enter zeros before it to make it 3 digits total. It seems obvious now but I wish this video or anything on their site would specify that.

I spent 20 minutes looking for this number and mine is not located between the glass. It is on a sticker on the window.

I am having no luck finding the order number on my garden window. Is there somewhere else that it might be? The only numbers on the spacer says the date it was made...

This was not what the serial numbers looked like in our windows which are ~4.5 years old from Milgard. Ours are on a large sticker in the top middle.

They did nothing for me. I have cheap, leaking windows and I’m considering boarding them up temporarily.
They want me to pay $10, 000 up front to get them fix.
I do not have that kind of money lying around.
Not sure what my next move will be.

This number does not show on the sliding door, nor the French Doors I received. There is a date on the French Doors but nothing else. Then the SO # on the sticker does not show up on your website. The SO # on the sticker does not match the SO# on the Packing Slip. Go figure!

I have triple pane windows and they don't have any numbers on them..frustrating. the form is way overdone too hard to fill out on line

This trick does not appear to work on Milgard windows manufactured prior to 2015 and it also did not work on a brand new Milgard sliding glass door I had delivered and installed early December 2018.  On the brand new sliding glass door the SO number was located on a paper sticker on the sliding part. They may now be putting the serial numbers directly on the glass since I did have numbers etched on the glass itself but they are so small I can't read them. They are also stickered on the outside frame of the window (which is covered when the window is installed of course)
