The eye-opening documentary "The Myth of Plastic Recycling: What Producers Didn't Tell You" sheds light on the alarming truths about the plastic recycling industry. For years, major plastic producers have promoted recycling as a viable solution to the ever-growing plastic waste crisis. However, recent investigations reveal that these claims may not only be misleading but downright deceptive. This film dives deep into the evidence, uncovering how the public's faith in recycling has been exploited by corporations to continue their production of single-use plastics, with little regard for environmental consequences.

Through expert interviews, on-the-ground investigations, and revealing data, we explore the stark reality behind the plastic recycling narrative. The documentary uncovers how systemic issues in the recycling process, from technical challenges to economic hurdles, have made true sustainability a distant dream. We also highlight the impact of these revelations on global waste management policies and the urgent call for systemic change.

Join us as we uncover the layers of misinformation that have obscured the truth about plastic recycling. "The Myth of Plastic Recycling" not only seeks to inform but also to inspire action towards real solutions for plastic waste. As we navigate through these revelations, the documentary poses a critical question to viewers: How can we move beyond recycling myths to create a future where sustainability is not just a promise but a reality?

And the ever rising energy cost due to the panic over a non issue like atmospheric co2 is making everything more difficult

Plastic re-cycling would be an option if cheap energy is made available for it. It is clear that plastics will not go away for general use and as such these compounds need to be made so that they can be re-cycled. The problem is that manufacturers are generally not socially responsible and governments don't really care until the shit hits the fan. There are solutions for most things it is only necessary for people to be willing to do so. Some of the pictures you see ( plastic in the water ) are very selective and overstated and thus do not represent the true facts. Greenies and sensationalists like politicians want to sell there product to you and as such they become counter productive in putting there message across and just cause more confusion.
