Wow, i have never heard of Kingsley's adventure! Must have been overshadowed by spyro and crash lol, but it has the aesthetic and style of my favorite type of games: platformers with animal or creature characters!

One of my favorite video games of all time... epic music and challenging adventure with lots of little details in the graphics and scenery. I hope one day all of the rare and classic games like this one will be remastered and made into new adventures as well so that anyone will be able to enjoy them.

Another great PS1 game that is less popular, unique, and loads of fun is my 2nd favorite game of all time, The Grinch. The gameplay is amazing, intricate, challenging, and was massive for the time. There were a lot of puzzles and stealth involved because the same company that made Metal Gear Solid (Konami) designed the game and it turned out wonderfully entertaining and unlike anything else I've ever played.

I think the pixel-perfect bullshit's a good sign that something went wrong in development of this game for them to have worked on it for so long and not seen any potential problems with it, seeing all this old footage and demo screens again of the game actually looking better than the final as well as the scrapped dungeon before the bear boss (literally just one little room in the final) just reaffirmed that for me. Also holy shit I had actually wondered if the guys in that cell were the cut NPC/boss when I played it again recently, the names couldn't have been a coincidence. I wish the game was a lot better than it turned out cos I like the character designs and obviously a lot of work went into the graphics engine but as it stands I hate it for being so short and unfinished as well as having really janky and bullshit controls/design, oh yeah and the whole of that level with the cells, what in the fuck were they thinking designing that.

I just discovered this game, and I'm already a fan of it. I enjoy the fact that you play as a cute fox character and fight enemies along with completing puzzles. Sure, it is hard, especially with the controls, which took a bit of getting used to for me. But hell, I always enjoy a good challenge. I also really enjoy the soundtrack. And, going on about the character you play as, I love the idea of playing as a cute fox character who is fighting against forces of evil, and I love the voice they gave him too, adding to the overall cuteness of the player character. This is a really good game in my opinion, deserves more recognition. It would, in my opinion, be really interesting to see a remake of this game. I am so glad I discovered this game.

Edit: It was very interesting to see the older concepts and scrapped designs of this game, I found it very neat to see how many changes the game went through in development.

I loved this game as a kid! I had completely forgotten about it until Nitro Rad did a video on it, I can't believe how well this art style still holds up, this game could have been a classic if it got the right attention. Thanks so much for this interesting insight, it's a long shot but I hope this gets picked up for a remake, would be great to play it again!
