1. National polling is largely useless, the only thing that matters is swing state polling
2. Betting markets are generally more reliable as most people who have placed no money are making predictions rooted in their own partisan politics. Whereas those placing money have to be somewhat objective. Since no own wants to piss their own money away.

Betting markets are the dumb money, and often wrong in tight races. Drunk rich people splashing money on a macho bet are no better informed than those who bet less, but betting markets assume money means inside knowledge.
