I'm a white Canadian and can't vote for a US president, but I have to ask: why are there polls based on race? Isn't an American citizen able to vote regardless of race? Doesn't at least a 2nd generation decendant of immigrants think of themselves as simply an American? Why put a focus on race? Feels like a basis for systemic racism to me, but my view may be skewed.
