Lmao my vietnamese husband whispered to me "I want to be a kid again" as he gave away the red envelopes yesterday 😂😂😂

"When are you going to be a millionaire?
- When I'll stop giving all my money for lunar new year."

There's a special kind of love present when you walk in the door and get handed a mixing bowl or a broom in 10 seconds

This is true for anyone going home for the holidays. You're not taking a break, you're now an extra set of hands for whoever is hosting the celebration if you're staying with them. Actually even if you're not, it's expected for you to contribute.

I thought those questions would stop after I got married and had a kid. No. Now it’s: “When are you having the next one?” 😅

I swear, that part where they ask you to exceed in school and uni, get a degree, marry a business man, have children and be a millionaire like it was something realistic and what they achieved themselves 😂

You most definitely were born a comedienne!! I have laughed so much at your "shorts"! In Finnish we say "A laughter makes you live longer" and I am sure you have given me plenty of more years to come!!

I told my parents and relatives the last time they asked that me and my gf don't want kids (we are both Asian). They think we were joking. And when they realized we were serious...all hell broke out. I told them if they want more babies ....they can go make it themselves (dead serious). They no longer ask us such questions.

The thing is...as Asian, we have never been taught how to say "No" or to tell people to mind their own damn business, and we need to learn that otherwise we are just enabling those behaviors. Relatives or parents or whatever, I've decided several years ago to draw very clear boundaries, and if people don't respect those boundaries they will get cut off no matter who it is. My mental and emotional health are not going to suffer just because my parents can't understand boundaries.

Since I've started doing that...life has gotten much easier

You’re the sweetest person I’ve seen on YouTube and I don’t give out praise that often especially on YouTube.

Love you Uyen. I am a Filipino and working in Vn which I consider my 2nd home. Going back home to my country and going back to work is easier as some of our cultures and traditions are not that far from each other. Chuc Mung Nam Moi 😘🎉❤

The little nieces look really cute. How can you not love to see them again after so long? You look as if you are hugging snails!
