one of the channels is inverted (so the stereo signal is all messed up so it sound like coming from behind)

They are using a dummy 1/8th phono jack in the headphone jack.

Oh God... as far as "players" are concerned, what happened to 70/80's caliber players? I'm glad my family brought me up listening to accomplished 70/80's players.

Now? Everyone wants to be, and therefore thinks they're near-instant "rock stars". Yet, they don't seem to want to put the time into actually getting becoming efficient and precise with their instruments. Almost depressing, it is.

"Modern rock" and it's "players" =

"Learn only three chords and a couple of notes in a pentatonic scale, and you too can be instant rock star."
"Turn on a couple of effects to their most bizarre and radical proportions, and you're an instant rock star."

Dream on... dream on... dream on... (problem is, dreams used to require work... not instant gratification and fooling one's self)

"Wow, dude... these "modern" YouTube instructional vids are impressive!" NOT! (<---- Once "cool" 80's word play)

Folks, please... learn your instrument really well before you try and instruct someone else. Falling off of one's horse, riding one immediately fast, or barely staying on the horse does not make one an instant cowboy!
