Boss ME-80 Guitar Multi FX Overview

The ME-80 offers a best of both approach, over 30 knobs and 8 footswitches mean its very easy to change and experiment. Memory mode offers the usual patch saving options where you can store complete tones ready to recall at the push of a footswitch. Manual mode allows the unit to work like 7 single pedals by turning off individual blocks with individual footswitches. Thanks for these videos.  I just purchased the ME-80 and was disappointed to discover that the software to interface with it is not yet available for download. Since I've never owned anything like this before, the videos have made it much easier to get started working with it.

Thanks for the very useful overview sir. Definitely some substantial switching and control improvements over my beloved and road worthy ME-70. USB port... meh? Power switch... nice add. If somehow Boss were to better the ME-70's modelling and/or effects, that'd be really amazing? The added FX2 bank is definitely giving me some tonal ideas... I'm in!
