Regional leaders concerned about 'safe' nuclear wastewater to be released into Pacific

Japan says treated nuclear wastewater that is planned to release into the Pacific Ocean this year will be safe. While that promise eased some regional leaders' worry over its harm to the lifeblood to our islands, others say the reassurance is not enough.

Lol, I wonder how much Japan must’ve paid David Panuelo for him to do a complete 180° on his initial concerns about the nuclear wastewater. 👀💭 It only took a few months for Panuelo to _completely_ ameliorate his misgivings over Japan’s dubious track record for handling nuclear debris? 🤔

And I’m not buying his uncritical, obsequious praise of Japan. 😐 It sounds quite contrived & disingenuous, lol… 😬
