These guys are like the trade school equivalent to the Gray Knights. They don't get all the fancy education and equipment, but what they do get is just as valuable and they are just as effective if not better at getting the job done.

These guys are basically 40k Doom Slayers. They simply crush Daemons through sheer force of will and do not care for any psychic attacks the Daemons throw at them. For in their mind, when they see a Daemon, they only think of one thing. Rip and Tear.

The funny thing about the Exorcists is the failed Aspirants of this Chapter when fell into Chaos, despite just newly getting possessed by Chaos, have more knowledge, skill and power than those who rebelled against the Emperor 10.000 years ago, and surpassed them easily in a short time, which often makes the old and experienced of Chaos Marines Veterans jealous and hate them with their heart contents, pretty ironic tbh

my favorite part of this chapter is that they don't kill aspirants who fail to exorcise their demon. instead the demon host is locked away, with every other failed demon host, meaning that this space marine chapter just has a space station somewhere filled with demon hosts.

Interesting fact on "creatures" of the imaterium, beliefs can kill them. Mortarian commented on the fact that the Seroritas' very belief that the Emperor empowers them to slay demons made them more dangerous to demons. So, an entire chapter that now believes they're immune to demons and the warp, with the "proof" of being strong enough to exercise demons and resist possession, would make Astartes on par with Grey Knights in terms of demon killing.
