NASA BRIEFING BEFORE MARS HELICOPTER FLIGHT: NASA officials are holding a press briefing to discuss the upcoming inaugural flight of the Mars helicopter Ingenuity. On Friday, NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory tweeted a short video of the helicopter testing its blades. The first official flight of the Mars helicopter is scheduled for Sunday, April 11. The helicopter can only fly for a maximum of 90 seconds, and the flight tests are being performed to ascertain whether flight is possible on another planet. Due to the distance, NASA engineers won’t know how the flight test on Sunday went until Monday morning.
