My step dad worked for NASA so we got to watch lift off and the first moonwalk, he also was given slides and our mom made homemade ice cream and we watched them on a slide projector.

Too expensive. I think they are doing the wrong approach. They should build an orbital spacecraft, of modules similar to space station (habitation, control, power station, docking, propulsion), then refuel/resupply for missions to moon, asteroids, & mars. The Orion would fly to docking module and serve as a lifeboat. Propulsion module uses electric plasma engines. Power station is a combination of solar and nuclear power.

Did they forget something on the moon the first time? I thought there was nothing profitable or worthy of revisiting.

Why is China so far ahead of the u.s. when it comes to establishing a presence on the moon.

I heard there are built up electrical charges at the lunar poles. What about that?

Nasa never were on the Moon😅 They couldn't do it 60 years ago. They can't do it now🤓
Are they really going to explore deep space without nuclear engines? 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

We can spend 4.1billion $ on putting a metal jacket in space but college is out of the? Think about it

Why?
Been there and done that! it's a
total waste of taxpayer money.
If you insist on spending our money, spend it on the military before the Chinese kick our butts.

We can barely feed those here on earth. So why is it we will spend billions to feed a few on the moon? Who is paying for this?

Now is not the time to be spending tons of money on things that are not a priority for helping Americans in this time of a dismal economy and soaring inflation. People aren't going to have a better life, a comfortable home or have more food on the table for their families. Let's concentrate on what hurting communities need now not on frivolous pursuits.

This is sounding like an Investment pitch rather than a full funded realised coherent plan.

Political astronauts by gender and race first? Are they not American? It was always the best and nothing else?
