Auto lanr change should be sold ala carte for $1-2k. The rest of those gimmicks are not worth $4-5k w little use compared to how often auto lane change would be used. Its a pass to me.

I tried FSD for a month, a lot of these features just don’t work well enough to justify 6k. Summon and AutoPark are so buggy, I wish we could just pay for the lane change

I’ve got EAP and routinely/ reliably use smart summons, summons and auto lane change. Auto park I do use occasionally if I’m tired, but it is slower then parking. All the features work amazingly well, I would say 95% of the time. Smart Summons has never tried to run into something for example. Not sure why people give EAP a hard time… I guess I’m just a techy person who goes out of my way to use and enjoy the features. I literally park my car further away to smart summons 😂

We’re waiting for delivery this week of our 2022 Model Y and decided against EAP for it. $6000 is a steep price for the few additional features over standard autopilot. We paid for EAP with my wife’s 2018 M3LR and we enjoy it, but won’t drop the 6K for it on the Y. We’re also waiting for the Cybertruck. When I placed my deposit and configured my truck I did so with FSD but will more than likely spend the $200 monthly fee and try it out first. Most of my driving with it would be in town or pulling my bass boat so really hard to justify spending that much money. Excited to try FSD out though. Great video.

I got the fsd beta and honestly it’s been working extremely well in Colorado Springs. It makes turns a bit fast but still safely. Most drives I have maybe 1 disengagement but rarely for anything dangerous.

I think you’re underselling what FSD Beta can do right now. I use it 99% of my drives and only rarely have to disengage. I may tap the accelerator now and then but it completes all my drives most of the time. And I live in Indiana. So it’s getting really close. This last update has been insane!

Auto park, summon, and smart summon are all I care about (and autopilot, but that's included)

I'm not good at parking, and blowing someone's mind with summon has convinced a lot of people that dismiss Tesla until they see it in person (especially in the rain)

I cant believe my 2020 Ford Explorer Platinum has both Automatic parallel and perpendicular parking and my Model Y performance doesn't. It also had great auto pilot very similar to Tesla without the fancy screen. Stays lane centered and follows car ahead of me. Also has 360 camera view.

Just picked up my Model 3 yesterday after waiting a month from my initial order, and while I wasn’t gonna get EAP originally, I’m now very tempted! 🤔

I hate the fact Tesla doesn't recognize the $6K/$12K during a trade in or if the car gets totaled you need to buy EAP/FSD all over again. Isn't it better to stick with Basic Autopilot and go with a $200/month subscription? That way you turn it on/off during the months you need it.

I think I'll just pay $200/m for the summer if I'm going on trips. $6000 will give you 15 years of it... Just my two cents.

I bought it. EAP has come and gone so I didn't want to miss out. Also was able to edit a Y I have on order and add EAP for 6k. I did try lane changes at the beginning of 2021 and it was decent but they are much smoother now.

I wish they had like a $60-$75 or even $100 subscription for enhanced autopilot and/or a payment plan for it. I already bought my vehicle and I can’t finance it anymore. I am also not putting $6K on a credit card with 572929% interest. They should allow you to have a monthly subscription until the $6K is paid off.

I am an FSD beta tester. Don’t buy enhanced autopilot and waste your money. Buy the stock instead.

Did not realize that autopilot does not stop and red lights. I was seeming kind of unusual that the car was running so many lights and stop signs.
