I'm a surgical tech and this is legit how we do it. Although we hate wearing the masks because that is a huge benefit and pro to using the helmet because we can see each other and it is uncomfortable. What I do is put the hood on reach under my hood and pull of a sticky mask and then I rescrub my hands with avagard or sterelium and then I would don my gown!
