Moscow Metro: Travelling From Moscow City to Vnukovo Airport

The first airport in Russia with a Metro Station opened recently, connecting Moscow City with Vnukovo Airport. Considered impossible, the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line of the Moscow Metro is the first Metro line in Russia to take you directly to Vnukovo Airport.

Im Filipino American. Lived in California and now live in Russia with my wife and our baby. After living here for more than 3 years now, i realized we've been lied to in America about Russia and its people. Almost Everything here when it comes to quality of life is so much better. The transport systems are so good you really dont need a car to get around unless you want one. Ive been to most major cities in the US and EU, but Russia literally wins it for me with Turkiye and Dubai taking second and third place for the best places to live or visit

Moscow is more advanced, more beautiful and more cultural than most western capitals

"Welcome to civilization!" -- that's the message these stations shout out. "Welcome to the future! Welcome to a country where people matter! Welcome to a country that dreams! Welcome to a country that has aspirations!" Russia is only one-ninth of the Earth's land surface, but sometimes it seems like the whole world. These stations are glorious.

I'm not impressed with the vast shopping center in the International Business Center in Moscow -- too commercial! But I'm in awe of the stations. I can't remember the last time I saw such long trains! Wait, I do remember: It was 1982, my first and last visit to the Soviet Union. I ventured into the metro on my own, proud of my ability to read Cyrillic. I wish all of the modern signs were in Cyrillic only: Give English speakers an incentive to learn Russian!

I used to live in Vnukovo but moved before the new station was finished and had to take the bus from Razkaz.

Honestly it’s very impressive to see this is truth while comparing to USA or uk or Australia. They so behind. Not gonna lie the Russian took far better then most in the world well done Russia and people they should be proud themselves for all these nice and clean advance stations
