What creates the x-rays? The electrons hitting the anode and x-rays being created as a reaction and then reflected downward? Shouldn't this result in some electron flow loss through the anode, as energy is lost creating the x-rays? It would have been nice if you had gone into the physics of How the x-rays are created as the electrons strike the surface of the anode.

Does this mean that the total energy on the anode side electron flow through the vacuum and into the metal anode to ground, plus the x-rays produced, equals the energy leaving the cathode? What is the percentage of x-ray energy produced in relation to the electron flow through the anode, as voltage varies?

If we increase the rate of electron emitted then the X-ray intensity will increase to the certain amount and if we go on increasing the rate of electron emitted then X-rays is converted into gamma rays
