They remind me of old bowling balls at the bowling alleys.they were black with colors blended into them like your guitar.

Nice playing man !!! I have a Vigier Expert Retro 54. There aren't many guitars that come close to a Vigier in terms of engineering. The neck is super stable even after 12 years. The tremolo is on ball bearings and it is much better then those from other brands in my opinion. The zero fret system is fantastic and the locking tuners are stellar. The sound is always subjective but in the end... you have so many options nowadays in terms of pickup brands. If you go "custom" you can install whatever you want... just speak with Mr.Vigier.

I played a lot of Vigier but that's really special. Since I'm french, it was a really hot topic back in the days. Most of us wanted one because they were the sexiest guitars on the market but the absolute lack of personnality they tend to have disappointed a lot of players. The first that I touched was the rare 10th anniversary Exca. It was an amazing guitar (which cost 1500€ at the time...). They're really good instruments but way, way, way too overpriced and no ebony boards is a big turn off for me. Plus the carbon "truss" had some issues several years ago, the wood squeezed around it and you could feel the carbon under the palm of your hand. But I guess this is resolved now. I'd like to give it another try.

Not really a fan of the sounds with that middle pup. Sounds more tinny than quacky. I like the way the middle is the split combo of the ends though.
