I believe you should have suggested that they hand sew several times through that knot because after two or three washings in a machine...the chenille falls off the ends and you have a loose threads that are no longer tied tight cause all the chenille has fallen away. Have a blessed day.

You definitely cut the 1st knot off so what was point of it - dont get that bit!
