In this project I am developed a simple java desktop application for managing and organizing contacts.
General features, such as editing, exporting, and importing contacts, should be implemented.
The detailed requirements of the application are given below.
The Contacts management application allows users to add new contacts’ information (first and last names, email addresses, phone numbers, websites, and locations).
To do so, the user must click the “Create New Contact” button. The application will display the contact information form and the user should fill in all information requested by the form and then press the “Add contact” button
The application stores the contact information and displays the following message “The contact was added successfully”. Once the user presses the Main menu button, the application should return to the main window and display the new contact in the list of contacts
If the user presses on a contact entry in the contact list, the contact details should be displayed in the contact details area
The user can import contact details. This is achieved by pressing the “Import contacts” button. The user should then navigate to where the text file is located and select it. The process should display the imported contact details in the list of contacts in the main window. Finally, a message indicating that the process is completed successfully should be displayed.
