Debunking Myths: Is Reincarnation, Karma, Taught in the Bible

Have you ever heard someone say that Jesus taught reincarnation? That reincarnation was taught in the Bible but it was taken out. Or that John the Baptist was Elijah the Prophet reincarnated? Some people say that Jesus was just the reincarnated Buddha of His time, and past lives and the memories people have of them are proof of reincarnation. What about the conspiracy that Jesus visited India and became super spiritual?

If you’ve ever heard any of these things then this video is for you, my friend.

I intend to debunk each one of these claims biblically.
It took many hours of research and reading to compile this information. I condensed it the best I could and I hope it's useful for you. I'm grateful to serve the body of Christ. It was worth the time! I even spoke to some of my friends who are still in the New Age to get their insight on what they believe about reincarnation. I was able to have some fruitful discussions with them about this and how it contradicts the Gospel.

I first began watching your videos when I was still deep in New Age (how I grew up, never had any solid biblical teachings) and just opening my mind up to Christ, and my goodness, I used to feel this inner scratching of irritation and anger, only to later realize that it was the demonic entities that had been a part of my life since I was 13 trying to move me away from solid doctrine. My wife and I are going through a divorce. It has a lot to do with an addiction and lies on my part, but in the last several months I've really reconnected with my faith and have truly begun to understand what it means to fully surrender to god. We've spoken a few times about what happened to me the last couple of months and initially she seemed happy but recently she's become hard and distant and it seems to be directly linked to my renewed passionate faith. She's not a believer btw. This video perfectly incapsulates the few things I've been able to get out of her about what she believes in and I think could really help her. I'm asking for prayer for myself to be able to share this with her in a loving manor and that she'd be open to listening and for our marriage. My Hindu friend was trying to tell me about Catholics being taught Yoga when they visited. It's really hard to tell people the Gospel these days because so many "Christian" churches are not really Christian.

Wow, Melissa. Another incredible video, this really helped me. I didn't realize how I still carried some guilt from new age beliefs.
When I was 3-14/15 I was sexually assaulted by my bio dad, step dad and later my drug dealer/boyfriend. As well as being abused by them and others and suffering with bipolar disorder/OCD/PTSD/psychosis from my past trauma. I didn't realize until you posted this that I still blamed myself for all the things that happened to me, as if as a child or past life I did something to deserve it. Its difficult to realize that it's not my fault because it feels like it should be.
I also feel that the theology of karma feeds into a lot of victim blaming. I've been asked what I did to perpetuate being raped or beat. Again, I was ages 3-14 or 15 when CAS finally took us away (my siblings went through the same thing).
I've also been struggling with why... why would this happen? Why do I still have to suffer? That passage about the blind man almost brought me to tears. I feel I have a partial answer, all I can do is trust God. Since I've started trusting Him I've gotten out of the abuse and drug addictions, was finally able to quit smoking, found an incredible husband who helps with my faith and healing and has tremendous patience with me, found supports in the community and have found some friends who love me despite my flaws and if I do something wrong will talk with me instead of judging me or being mean to me. God has helped me a lot. It's still a struggle but without Jesus and the hope He gives me I would have killed myself and refused to seek help because I thought my psychosis was a spiritual adventure and not a mental disorder

Melissa again I just want to say you are a tremendous blessing in the Kingdom of Yeshua! ( No flattery intended) We as true believers in the solid truth of the word need sharpening in every way because the days are evil. As for myself I never was in New Age and since you have been I appreciate so much the discernment you have been given on this subject particularly. Spirituality has been referred to something completely different than it once was. For someone who loved to make spiritual references from my own walk in the Lord I now feel as though I have to make clear precise reference to the scriptures because of where the adversary is taking the church. Ugh it's so much but you are such a warrior for the Lord. ( No flattery intended) meaning I hear your sincerity and i don't just take your face value but align it up with the word of God too.

Steven Furtick played a major role in my turning to the new age movement. His "narcigesis" ways drew me away from the Bible and pulled me more towards psychological "you can heal your own brain and control your own life by your mind" belief and mostly new age.
Btw, my favorite thing is when new agers use the "the EYE is the lamp of the body" verse to signal that Jesus taught about the third eye
