Actually a really badass way to start a movie. Brutal and raw, hardly any words to make you feel how a marooned dude fights for his life.

I loved this movie more than all the prior Riddick movies. I've watched them all at least 9 times each. There aren't too many real flaws in these movies either. This movie is my favorite, where he gets a puppy and teaches him how to build a tolerance to the venom in these freaking water creatures. This is a classic, brutal, and total survival movie.

Vin Diesel is a very great actor with a style all his own. Riddick movies are very artfully executed but many of his other films are great. Vin knows no limits. One of my favorite all time actors ! Thanks Vinnie for your dedication and well groomed skills !
