I was wondering why there is a difference in interpretation of what we can eat from the sea between the two schools? I heard there was a question about lobster that the Shiites were considering it would be ok. Jazak Allah Khair for your lectures.

Eating frog is haram for Sunni muslims. Also, the verse below makes it clear that its halal to eat seafood but not ones that are poisonous or harmful. So many mistakes in the video. Please research the sunni side my shia brothers and sisters.

It is lawful for you to hunt and eat seafood, as a provision for you and for travellers. But hunting on land is forbidden to you while on pilgrimage. Be mindful of Allah to Whom you all will be gathered.

I have eaten fish without bone but that fish was having scales but everyone was saying that fish without bone is haram but my parents say that fish is halal even if it has bone or not but fish is haram if it doesn't have scales

Whatever he is saying is his personal point of view...but the Quran says whichever animal is not slaughtered on the name of Allah is haram

I don't understand why people are mentioning frog as it was not mentioned by him in this video I think they don't knw that this animal doesn't come under sea creature .I know many sunni Muslims who eat skin fish n lobsters.
