I love how the original soundtrack sounds calm but also a bit creepy whereas this remix sounds like a hopeful song as if Guts's struggle has finally ended and he can finally rest.

In the end of tunnel of darkness, there's always a ray of hope. This music perfectly embodies that.

Guts' theme stands out from almost every other shounen-esc protag's. While most are upbeat & action-oriented, Guts' provides a much more somber & emotional feeling. It portrays that there will be struggles in life, but there's always a light at the end. A light to reach. One so bright that you know you can't ever stop trying to reach it.

I imagine Guts theme as something that plays while you climb the peaks of life, finding that you never truly find an end. Something you can only persue, in any direction of your choosing, over hill after hill, mountain after mountain. Getting so close to saying that your done, and then finding that the road is endless, a peak is just that: a peak, but there is always more to see and do.

This feels like something that would play near the end of a fight between guts and griffith. Now that I think about it, it also reminds me abit of dragon's dogma.

Good god! I can see this being the version that plays at the end fight. Guts is battered, dragging himself up against Griffith for one more shot, and thinking about the new family he built.
