It's about consistency.
You want to ban books on specific criteria then you can't start making exceptions to books you like.

Everyone getting upset over the bible getting banned, need to take a long hard look at themselves and what they really want and mean.

When I was in middle school, my sister, myself, and our friends got in trouble for reading the Bible and singing Christian songs at breakfast. Our response? We brought in a Bible for breakfast and lunch with our own grade friends every day. They tried to suspend us and silence us but they couldn't and our mom even came in (and she's a scary woman when it comes to us being in trouble for no reason). However if we actually did something wrong, I'd much rather stay at school lol. And I'm not the best Christian, even to this day, but whats so wrong with kids being Christians and growing up with morals? Nothing. Not like the Bible will make a kid confused on who they are and cut stuff off.

Utterly terrifying. Have these people watched any television - including the ads - lately? One can't walk down a street, shop in any store, be anywhere near people engaged in (what passes for) conversation without having vulgarity and obscenity assault one's ears.
Violence is a favorite pastime in America and the world on the streets, in the schools, in most sports, in the language we use and on TV, internet, movies and music.
So many governments, individuals and organizations have tried for centuries to ban, destroy or limit the Word of God. The Word - the Bible - always prevails!

So there was a protest about banning any sexual content books and such which mainly targeted those LGBTQ books. Another parent pointed out the bible was also containing sexual and violent acts. Fair trade off tbh
