Jelly Rolls cd was one of my mom’s Christmas present requests. She was on hospice and she loved jelly roll. She kept herself up long enough to watch him perform on tv New Year’s Eve. She went to bed shortly after. In the middle of the night was when my mom’s condition changed. She passed away January 2nd. But I will never forget walking her to her bed her looking up and quoting jelly rolls song… god I need a favor 😢. Everytime we hear his song now we feel she’s with us 😭 she was 77. Thank you Jelly Roll for making her adore your music and story.
