I used to work with a guy who was a firefighter with the forestry service. I distinctly remember him telling me onetime "You can't outrun a Forrest fire." That was news to me at the I heard that. I just assumed that you could. I am glad these guys made it out ok.

I live in Ventura County and there is no chance they were just out for a hike. By 8am, the gusts went from 10mph to 60mph and fhe skies were dusted. If they were hikingz the gusts would be blinding - this is highly suspicious and seems like an attempt to go viral

Yeah...yeah. These guys are the type to go looking for trouble. They knew where the fire was and they intentionally went up there to mess around. No innocent hikers are going up that mountain with a raging fire happening. All that smoke and you couldn't figure out where the fire was? BS
