Bernie Kosar Highlights

An unorthodox passer from the 1980's. Kosar didn't look the part, but he played better than most in his era. He won a National Championship at the University of Miami, then strong armed his way to the Cleveland Browns where he was a starter for 9 seasons. Kosar was a winner, leading the Browns to the playoffs in his first five seasons and made it to the AFC Championship game three times. He didn't make it to the Super Bowl with the Browns, but helped the Cowboys repeat as champions in 1993. He threw for over 23,000 yards and 124 passing touchdowns in his career.

I would pay cash money to have Bernie in his prime as the Browns qb right now. God, I miss him.

Bernie is my favorite QB of all time. Yes, he was unorthodox in his throwing motion, he wasn't the best scrambler, or had the greatest speed or had the strongest arm but he was sure fun to watch and was very competitive. I am from Canton and watched many of Bernie's games in Cleveland. Great memories. Even though he was a Brown most of his career, I am glad that he was part of a Dallas Cowboy Super Bowl team.

Thank you for your time in Cleveland, Bernie.

Bernie Kosar was an amazing quarterback in his own right when he brought the Browns into a playoff team. He has the best pass accuracy who can throw the deep ball in the air. The Browns haven’t had a franchise quarterback since then.

Thank you again for posting these, Bernie was amazing and brought life back to the Browns and ever since they have never had a franchise quarterback. The fools got rid of Mayfield and brought in a horrible person to replace him.

Bernie Kosar reminds me of current star Pat Mahomes. A little taller than the 6-3 Mahomes, they have about the same frame. Big guys playing behind center.

Bernie's not as fluid with his running, but these videos give evidence that he and Mahomes share a lot in common.

he would have stayed at Miami, If Marino the greatest QB ever wasn't already there. Fate has a sense of humor.

I always thought Kosar was a bit of a NFL 🏈 version of Larry Bird.
Awkward looking, unathletic, slow
and as soon as he’s lulled you to sleep with those things 💥BAM!!
He’s read the blitz, pump faked a Stop-N-Go to Slaughter, Langhorne
or someone and it’s 6 pts 🙌🏼.
And that awkward side arm sling 🤣 The throw would look so terrible, a wounded duck, where’s it even going ?? And then 💰 .... right in the perfect spot where the defender couldn’t reach it, right in stride with his receiver.... 🙌🏼🏈💥
