I think it is in reference to Liam Neeson's Taken film serious, which is set in Albania. The location choice probably pissed off a few of the locals, kind like how Borat did.

Ironicly enough years later Neeson was referenced in an ad campaign made by the Albanian tourism board where the ad made an appeal to Liam Neeson to visit and be "taken" by the nation's natural beauty.

Serbia actually has no control over Kosovo although it does not recognise it as independent and claims it as its own territory. Albania does not claim the territory of Kosovo either but obviously recognises it and has very good relations with it
