The DJI Goggles V2 Is Better Than Goggles 2 | Don't @ Me!

DJI has recently released the Goggles2 with their second generation FPV system. But with its increased price, how much better is it really compared to the Goggles V2? The results might actually surprise you.

I strongly agree...I have the goggles v2 and the O3 air unit and I am more the satisfied. I ended up cancelling my pre-order for the goggles 2, I could no longer justify the price.

I'm newbee to fpv world. But after reviewing many reviews of comparisons v2 and 2, I chose v2 for myself and today I ordered them for $420. I also like them externally more than 2)

Once the drone is in the air, I'm just as happy for my x4 analog as I am for my DJI v2, I fly and enjoy the drone and don't think much about the quality of the picture anymore.
and have to agree that v2 is amazing for what it is. happy Xmas and a happy new flying year.

I took me a while to figure out. "DJI FPV Goggles V2" is NOT the same as "DJI Goggles 2" Now that's just confusing.

I just ordered the v2 last week and my friends were like "whyyy you didn't get the 2 it's much bettter and blah blah blah" to be honest after this review i am more satisfied that i ordered the v2. I also ordered a digi analog adapter like yours, id like to be able to fly tiny whoops like mobulas. And the v2s displays are clear enough already, can see the branches thats good enough haha

I have the g2 and v2 and hands down the G2 blows it away. Period. It’s worth every penny.

Hi! Nice video focused in the practice of the Google I think like you about V2 is better. Here a quesiton, do you know V1 googles works with O3 and wath combo is the better for long range?

I want to love the goggles 2 (because the screens are so beautiful oled and 1080 is a BIG difference for me) (have v2 and 2) but I will sell the goggles 2. because: 1. ALWAYS FOGGY SCREEN, 2. even with other foams the fit is shit my eyelashes touch the screen 3. lenses are worse you have to really find the perfect spot just to be able to see clearly (v2 just sit them on and fly no need to pinpoint it out) 4. because of no fan fog but als very very bad sweat in summer time because it’s like a sauna in there

My G2 is on my shelf collecting dust, headtracking+motion controller is extremely neat and all but not supporting the new Vista, analog input or FPV Drone firmware on the old V2 means that when heading out I can only pick one, which meant I am sticking to the V2 until my FPV Drone dies and I no longer fly analog.

hi this is a good video. I have one more question. the goggles v2 is now also compatible with the remote 2 but does that mean that the air units with caddx and link cams can now also be flown with the controller 2 or it just means that the O3 is usable with Goggles v2 and remote 2?

This was a very informative and well explained comparison video for me who is new to FPV quad flying. Before this video, I had thought the goggle 2 were it, as far as which is best.

I've only got a couple of flights with my G2. I have mixed feelings so far. The good... they are light, they are less blurry on the far outsides, my first flight with the O3 and G2 looked really good. The bad... I have lots of light leak. They don't seal well around my face at all. They are unfomfortable on the bridge of my nose. I despise the touch pad and really wish it had a joystick. They also fog up a lot. My V2's blast my eyes with air almost uncomfortably so but never fog and the G2s I can't feel any air at all even though the fan is on. I just updated my v1 and v2s to wtfos and am really enjoying them at the moment. Maybe with time and new sealing felt I will like the G2 better but I currently I would say for most people you don't need to run out and by the G2 if you have Gv2s.

Goggles 2 also have poor range on older vistas. I guess I'll stay with goggles v2 until I replaced half of my quads with o3

Goggles 2 are now compatible with the Mini3 and Mini4 pro.
