Eclipse is a more situational item ngl against short ranged ad Carry's and melee matchups where you will need survivability the eclipse build is good.

pretty sure enryu came up with the nilah eclipse build, but its only good into short range/melee comps. any amount of poke and youre better off with lethality or burst instead of drain tank.

Yea if you check this guys profile he goes different builds all the time. I think it would have been better if you stated the builds he uses and when to use whihc one. He has essence reaver, shiv, eclipse, IE builds, kraken. Its all over the place.

why he skips? its bad item after nerfs. thats it. People just doesnt know how to itemize her properly and they just rush collector navori. While eclipse, voltaic, IE exists and are super good in specific matchups.

Collector is noob bait. Lethality is weaker than raw AD early game, the damage execute is insignificant and wasteful in most scenarios (where you final hit takes them from above 5% hp to 0%, rendering it useless) and the gold gain is abysmal. 10 Takedowns will only net you 200g which is less than 1 kill in normal circumstances and Eclipse is much cheaper and a quicker grab right off the back.
People but Collector because it's the only items that gives Lethality and Crit Chance at the same time, allowing ADC's to be a bit burstier against already squishy targets. But GiantSlayer will forever be the superior armor/crit item.
