I took my Asvab a month ago and I’m in 10th grade. I get my results Monday and the most difficult part was the math knowledge bc I haven’t done mental math in so long

Never studied for mine… Definitely wanna study and practice. I took the entire allotted time to complete my exam. Thankfully my scores got me into the USAF.

Didn’t study once for the navy ASVAB recruiter said I was a point away from nuke. Remember that collective guessing is a valid strategy

Crazy that you mentioned getting a study guide. I enlisted with a guy that swore up and down he was going to pass his asvab with flying colors since he has been studying for weeks through a study guide. He didn’t pass the exam and he made a 22 😂 I just used common sense and had to rack my memory for certain things. Not saying anything bad about using a study guide, hell I recommend one too!

Never prepared for it and I scored 76..just relax and answer to the best of your knowledge. The practice exam is not that helpful, very very basic.

ASVAB FOR DUMMIES helped me double my score. It’s about you “test ability.” The better you prepare the easier it is! 89D all the way!!!

Scored a 98 my Junior year in high-school sadly no green card means no ability to enlist. Dreams crushed and hopes dashed. I'm 25 now hopefully the laws change again before I age out of eligibility.

Your command isn't going to like this...push for the spots you need to fill by allowing people to choose a MOS, and ask them if they know a friend that might fill a spot?
