ARMY Tips for taking the ASVAB!

My recruiter was depressed because I failed the physical. My hearing was really bad(1980) but my ASVAB was 95. I was heart broken as well. I wanted to get in the Army

If you suck at math practice math.. you can up your score just by doing that.. English is simple read the questions for the paragraph.. as you read the paragraph the answers will pop after you read the questions it may seem like a trick answer but it’s not just go with the answer and don’t change your answers ! Good luck! I went from a 38 to a 78 just by doing that.. I know 78 isn’t super high but that’s a massive jump

If you're taking the ASVAB in MEPS, make sure to bring food . I brought in a hibachi grill in there, I scored 78.

I had 2 brothers join the air force . 1 took it seriously and ended up being a crew chief for a fighter jet and had a blessed career after. The other one didn't and ended up in ordinance. He did ok after but could have done better

I went on 0 hours of sleep said fuck it and guessed the whole test and passed and got the job I wanted lol this test in my eyes is impossible to fail I know plenty of guys who did the same thing

If you have to worry about the asvab you need to pick up a book more often. It asks you questions about synonyms, reading comprehension and the math is like algebra 1

ASVAB wasn’t hard, went through MEPS; just waiting ship date in two weeks

The ASVAB isn’t too scary. as long as you have an IQ higher than 83 you’ll be fine. It’s like any other test you take in High School. I slept and did all this at etc. didn’t do too good in high school. But got a 46 on the asvab. That was in 2009. Still joined the Army. In 2018 I scored a 56 and that was to enlist marines. So truth is you could fail School and still pass the asvab. 83 is a pretty low IQ.. if all else fails and you don’t know the answer, choose C. I suck at math, so most of the math questions were C.

I did my practice test the first day and got a 56 and my recruiter asked me to come the second day I got a 56 aswell on the real asvab and for MP I needed a 91 on the ST portion but ended up getting a 106. I go to meps on Tuesday I hope everything goes well

I went in thinking I’d do awful but it wasn’t as hard as I thought, and I ended up doing very well. Don’t stress out, but do take time to prepare. There are multiple study guides online you should take a look at, as well as reading up on tools, cars, or whatever else is your weak area. Reach out if you have any questions or want tips.

Get a study guide. My son went from 108 to 115 for his GT score. This is important if you want to be an officer or go to spec ops you need 110.
