I think what he’s referring to is that, he’s pointing out the specific type of inequities we suffer and deal with. Saying that Jesus took them up on the cross and delt with it once and for all.

I think that's what the first guy was trying to say except he was listing of specific sins that people have committed. I don't think he was saying that Jesus did those things, but that for us he was punished for those sins as if that were his. Sounds to me like they both said the same thing.

I am a pastor’s wife and I personally feel this preacher was just pointing out each individual sin, so the congregation would understand that even though Jesus himself never sinned, He took our sin upon Himself. For that reason, God turned His head and Jesus even asked, “Father, why has thou forsaken me?…” God can’t look upon sin. My question is this: why do people love to point out every little thing they believe Pastors say or do that they may not agree with, but will Not hold to the same standard for themselves

Ppl be twisting EVERYTHING up. I understood he’s saying Jesus became all of that because all that is EXACTLY what He nailed on to the cross in His body! He didn’t get punished for being righteous, yes, He was the ONLY righteous being on earth but He was nailed for all that and more! Thank you Lord Jesus Christ because you DIDN’T deserve any of what you got yet you loved us beyond what we love ourselves and did it anyway! Jesus sweat His Precious Blood in the garden. Reason is that He did not only fear the Physical but Jesus feared to become sin which He knew is the ONLY thing that seperate us from our Father.
