I'll show you how to make a super useful DIY Book Holder two different ways in this video. Not only do they look attractive sitting on your end table or night stand, but I mean it when I say they're useful. You can save your place in your book just by placing it over the holder, SINGLE HANDEDLY! Plus, the fancy version, has a neat little drawer for storing your reading glasses, pens, pencils, etc. They may looks simple, but these are more challenging woodworking projects than you might think.

Smart idea! And execution, too. Waiting for a shop first aid kit build. That would mount on the wall next to one of your clipboards. (Maybe with a sign "x days without an accident"?)

Another great project Cody! You definitely have been rocking these small builds. Yeah and it’s grewt to show that mistakes happen. I now the feeling of cutting everything and then find out it doesn’t fit is is backwards....

I like it a lot. A bit of carving on the front on it could be a great Deathly Hollows piece.

Dude, I'm a wood Carver. I'm happy if I manage to not get blood on things. Those little cuts you showed, minor. We work with sharp things, cuts happen, and we go on. Be careful, but keep on creating!

I just found your channel this week and immediately subscribed. I am enjoying catching up on some of your other videos. The wood that you used in the fancy version of this build was spectacular!! Love it! Also, it’s fun to watch videos from a fellow Oregonian. :-)

Are the 32.5 degree cuts also made by standing up on end like the peak vs laying on the table of the table saw? If so, all of the 32.5 angles, the 2 sides and both on the bottom?
I purchased the plans but now can't find them in my email. Thanks!

Felt your pain with the multiple attempts at getting the angle right. I like the end result, looks cool with the brass accent...

What flat tooth table saw blade do you prefer? I've been shopping for one for some time and I can't seem to settle on one.

edit: something I learned from Bob @ I Like to Make stuff when dealing with a miter that doesn't quite match up like you want.. try using a round screwdriver shank, rolled with light pressure perpendicular down the joint to round the edges of the wood towards each other. Have you tried this method?

Trying to fire out how to do this with a table saw. Only have a miter
